Remember the Russian elections when there was a slight possibility that Putin was going to be re-elected for the third term? They did a mock vote in Russia at the time and the majority of the population re-elected Putin to be the President of the Russian Federation for the third consecutive term. Then the talks about the Russians trying to rewrite the constitution surfaced and the world was mad. Does anybody remember that?

Does anybody remember Mr. Bush saying something like: "the Russian government is a bunch of tyrants and communists if they do something like that..." I really don't remember the exact words, but it was something among those lines...

Now, America fully supports Kazakhstan AND President Nazarbaev!!! In fact they think that this is AWESOME, a true historical event! So my question is, how calm when there is a slight chance of Russia re-electing their FAVORITE President and Hugo Chavez staying for a couple more terms it is viewed as evil, tyrannic, blasphemous and not democratic, but when Nazarbaev decides to rule for life it is completely fine???
