My last cruise (~ 150 km)...

Hey everyone! Since the summer is coming to an end and September is approaching fast, I wanted to organize my last cruise (since I'll be going to England in the middle of September). I have done some driving around and have compiled a 100 km route that is truly scenic (couldn't have done it without benz_addict as he found some amazing places! Thanks Salik!). It will start off at a usual west end gathering spot ---> Heartland (Mavis/Brittania). From there we will head West towards Hamilton... I'll lead.

We will take it easy and obey all traffic laws. Absolutely no speeding and no racing will be tolerated. We are a mature crowd, so let's just take it easy and enjoy the views. Ultimately, I want to show you guys some of the best driving roads that I have found in Canada.

The dilemma is between the dates. I can either do it Friday, August 27th or Saturday, August 28th. We can meet up at 7 pm on Friday for an evening cruise, or 3 pm on Saturday for a nice day cruise. So far both days seem to be nice and warm.

Anyways, opinions? Inputs?

Hey guys! Thanks for signing up! I think as of now Saturday works better for me as well, so I am leaning more towards the day cruise. Are all of you who signed up, ok for Saturday?

I am NOT planning to do a lot of stops, accept for the one near Dundas, and the final one at Hamilton beach.

PLEASE FILL UP! THERE WILL NOT BE A LOT OF GAS STATIONS ON THE WAY!!!

This cruise will take approximately 2 to 2:30 hours and will cover 170 km from beginning to the end (Hamilton). From there, for those who live in Toronto downtown, it will be another 60 km to get back...

If its too long for some, then there will be a halfway point, where you can leave home if you want.

SO! Once again, 3 pm - Heartland. We will leave by 3:40 pm...
