Hey guys just thought i'd post this, the event is put on by the DRJ(Durham Region J-bodies) as an all makes and models get to gether to start off the season. It starts at 7PM on April 11/2010 wich is a Sunday and will be held in the parking lot of the AMC 24 theatre in Whitby, wich is just on the north side of the 401 at Thickson Rd.
I thought i'd mention it cuz i might be heading out there myself, let me know if anybody is thinking of going.

Always nice to meet enthusiasts from other makes. Unless they are cocky douches.

Yea, but usually if you see a middle aged guy driving an old lowered JDM car, muscle car, or german car, it usually means they know what their doing.
They hit that point where, they dont care so much about making their own car the best, but helping the rest of the forum, and other people who are like me and still have a great deal of learning to do. Hopefully helping them aviod stupid mistakes that they may have run into while they were doing their thing.
I saw an old east asian guy driving an Evo 4/5 once, lowered, stickers all over it. All I could say is "Either thats his son/duaghter's car...or that thing is retarted fast" then he droped a gear and all I could hear was loud turbo flutter "awwww...shiiiiteeeee...!!!" after catching up and looking inside the car, he had a half cage too. Really nice. Stickers were small and in a row on the front quarter. I gave him the thumbs up.

Yah i was at the gas station one day and saw a really nice older 280ZX in yellow wich looked really nice but i was thinking a younger guy owned it, but when the guy came out he was like 60. i got talking to him and he was telling me the motor was fully built, turboed and had all the goodies on it making like 650 horsepower. like you somewhat said Eddie_Jai he waswilling to talk about his car and show me what he's done and all the detail he put into it in a non cocky way, a really nice car and a pleasant guy to talk to.
