I went last year and it was cool to see the SLRs and SL65 Black Series up close. I wonder if they'll have the SLS this time. Last year I went on one of the last days early in the morning and avoided the crowds.

I love the autoshow, the best is acting like a big shot to the sales reps and getting to sit in the cars on the pedistals, or setting up group test drives for some of the more expensive cars.

Last show MB offered test drive on exhibition place: smart, A, B, C, GLK. Many MB cars were opened. Shame for BMW, they locked M3.
Will go this time for sure.
Will they show a new GullWing? This car should be watched in person to make an opinion.

I hope so. Last year they showed the SL65 BS and that was breathtaking!

I finally get to see the Autoshow after 2 years...so excited. Working at it was fun and stuff....but you miss out the entire freaking show.

What's even more fun is dont meet up and see if you can spot the person in a sea of people. Thats more fun, plus you can pretend your a spy and try not to get caught lol

Last year they had the stupidest cars locked and some very expensive unlocked.

Last 5 years I have tried everything to get into the exotics even making apointments with the dealers that show the cars at the show nothing.

We are sick of this crap so we might go on press day.

Though I'm slowly starting to get bored of it, I think I'll probably still go this year. The pictures I take seem to get less and less every year. Maybe because you can always find pictures that are much more Pro on the internet. Though the best are with your buddies in the tank pretending you are GI Joe while the soldiers give you dirty dirty looks because you're not 10.

Does BMW do anything special for their customers? I still have my E36 keys...and my steering wheel...and my instrument cluster...and my clutch pedal...and my shift knob...lol.

You should bring your instrument cluster to the BMW section and see if they'll do anything for you lol

You should bring your instrument cluster to the BMW section and see if they'll do anything for you lol

Now, who wants Car Show Tickets? At the door they're $20, I've got some for $15 for the PureMB boys.

All you need is show them your key? what special do you get if you're a mercedes benz owner and you go? hahaha I've heard there is a speical place but i've never tried to figure out what it was and what qualifies you to get in it.

Its just a place to sit down, eat some free cookies and chocolate, and have a cup of coffee/soda/water. Sometimes they showcase a new car, or the line of rims.

Its just a little something to make you feel special lol.

Yup it's a small little lounge that you go up these stairs at the M-B boothes. Just show them your car keys. Obviously it will have to be your M-B keys if you're at the M-B booth. You can bring friends in with you. One year Lexus had a booth and BMW had one too. But M-B has had one every year.

Yup just bust out your car keys. They don't need to verify that the car is yours. I lend my key to my friend sometimes.

ohh.. haha I should chain all my MB keys together at home.. lmao I still have our old W202 spare flat key.. LOL.. it'll all be differnt keys too. The older version CLK key, flat w202 key, the 2 button suv key and my c-class key.. lmao they'll be like wtf..
