Ok, so its now offically winter after the few snow falls and the chilly days we've been having. Hopefully you've gotten the winter tires on, or tucked your baby away in the garage for the next few months.

The tracks are closed, and the streets will soon be slick with ice and snow...and its way to cold to hang out on a patio. So what is there to do? Paintball!!!!

Tis the season to be stuck inside an urban environment and live out your Counterstrike/Call of Duty fantasy.

This post is just something Ive seen on other forums during winter. Basically if you plan on going paintball post a "Shoutout". A time, a place, and the type of feild, as well as cost and the group your going with.

So far the only ballers I know on this forum is Infamous and SEI. So please post your shoutouts when you plan on going! and of course, this is open to anyone who would like to join, if its your first time or your a seasoned player, its always more fun to have a group of friends all on one team.

Doesnt matter what your into, Speedball, Woodsball, or Senario play, talk about awsome "kills" and tactics, and even your position you play, and the amount of paint you normally shot.

Me and SEI usually frequent Sgt Splatters and Defcon, and go mostly on half price days or bring your own paint days. (mon-weds) Its cheaper on these days for us.

Usually I play front man, I do alot of rushing, pushing the line and yelling out alot of recon. If there are large buildings, Im usually first in.

Scary scary!, I hate being on the oposite team of this thing! Been a few times where we have been split up for farness sake because of just team picks, or one team having no "heavys" or not enough front runners.

Nothing worse then being the last guy on the team vs SEI when hes already set up shop on the hood of a car or on the second floor of a dark house at sgt splatters.

want to do sgt splatter on mon? its half price paint, and there's usually noobs that day so you can get a feel. ill toss in a stock too. matt picked up his marker yesterday so when he gets back we can have a four man fire team.

And just a heads up if any of you guys wanted to know.
Me and ~2-3 people will most likely be going for a couple days throughout the christmas break.. if anyone's interested, we'll be going to EB. Lots can be learned through various pro and semi pro's if you're just starting the sport, EB is strictly a speed ball field, so no houses, or sandbags, cars etc; just air bunkers and turf.. and if you'd like, you can choose to have games in between those pro's/teams to play with your own friends and each other, or the people of your liking if you're not comfortable playing serious games.

Its speedball.
Theres really no way for someone to 'surrender' based on how the game is played.
You'll either get bunkered, or shot out normally. Simply shoot to kill; I guess that would suffice as an explanation. Really the only rule we use since we don't consistently play with paint checking refs is don't cheat. Unless you want to get bonus balled, and I mean BONUS.. like an extra 10-20 while you're leaving the field.. than don't be an asshole, and leave when you get shot. :lol:

You can use your red dots or whatever you have, just know that if someone comes up behind you, they won't ask you to surrender.. they'll just shoot you in the back a couple times

Ive always liked the look of the BT Delta Elite. Almost went for it, but I found my A5 for cheap, so I couldnt let it go. How fast can the rip clip feed?

Where abouts do you play? It'd be great to find a few more ballers. I think im going to take the plundge and finnally buy a membership to sgt splatters. I think that will become by home feild.

Had a good game on monday, 12v12, decent mix of owners and renters.

Hope you can make it out to a few games. We're probably going to have a decent sized group with a few of the members in the new year, once a few of them get back from the holdays.

Haha yes, the Apex is orgasmic. Got a guy hiding behind a barrel at Sgt. Splatz once... it was awesome.

I bought the BT Delta Elite for about $400, so yes it is a bit pricey. I'm not sure what are the prices now since I bought it a while ago. The RipClip is fairly fast, not as fast as a speedball marker, but still fast. I've played with speedballers before, and they tell me I was a hard match with my BT Delta Elite.

I play at Sgt. Splatz mostly, but I also tend to go woodsballing too. I like to put in my real-life experiences into play... Haha :D

Anyways, I would be glad to play with you guys. Time and place. Time and place my friend.

Edit* Also, I think I'll take that plunge too and get a membership... I'd love owning little kids and cocky speedballers for a whole year. I've got much respect for the mature speedballers though. Don't get me wrong. :P

They've discontinued the T8 and replaced it with the T8.1 that uses first strike rounds, you can make it compatable for regular paint with a mod.

Its priced to compete with the TPX. The best is, if you get the T8 ranger rifle, you can use regular paintballs in a hopper for close incursions and load a clip of first strike rounds for those long balls across feild.

Ive been once, and its really nice, think of sgt splatters (Being an indoor feild but an outdoor urban style set up) but its indoor set up..(indoor feild, but its like your playing inside...like an apartment building.)

Its interesting, but omg, to expensive! pay per hour man, plus paint. I dont know if they have changed though.

haha yea eh, more people! Well once the holiday brake is over, SEI will join us, he has a Tippmann X7 Phenom. Its amazing! barly any kick back, electric and mechanical, so if you run out of batteries you can keep shooting semi. Super air efficent, a decent 1500 shots per tank.

Matt will also join us once he comes back, he has the original X7 kitted out like a sniper rifle pictured close to the beginning of this thread.

Oh just to let you know, with Sgt Splatters, Always get the upgrade to 98 custom/BT-4. The stock semi auto is crap, its like a Veiwloader Lancer or something. Its hard to long ball anything with that, at least with the upgrade you can peg someone from half feild.

If you like it, and want to join us for more games, you can invest in a basic marker, save some cash instead of renting all the time.

Ill be there around 7 PM with my friend. Just meet us inside. Look for the guy with the camo mask, and side arm around his right leg!

Personal preference, they are booth really good pistols. Depends whats more comfortable in your hands, I personally like the T8 more, but I guess its because Im used to it now. The TPX has more barrel options though, its A5/X7 threaded, but there is a shroud on it, so not all the barrels will clear.

I think in the long run, if your going to be playing Pistol games, the TPX is better, just because of the barrel variaty, plus the magazines are cheap, its like 30-40 bucks for two mags, the T8 is 50-60 for one.

With the T8 I get about 24 shots off with one 12 gram. with the TPX its about the same, but the last one or two usually gets low balled.

I have no clue how much the holsters cost for the TPX, but the ones avilible are tactical "all in one" style holsters, so theres a place for 2 clips, and a few 12 grams, the T8 holster is strictly just for the pistol. If you want to try out the T8 Ill let you use it a few rounds tomorrow. I was poundering about selling mine. Maybe getting a T9 or TPX.

Ive always wanted to try a game, just rocking a pair of pistols lol.

Oh dude! I was thinking of getting that lazer site/flashlight combo...tac...thingy! how does it perform? flashlight wise? I might just get one of those little small LED flashlights with pressure switchs, get a pair of them, that should be enough to blind people in dark corradoirs. The one Im looking at is 65 lumins...thats...good right? lol

I just ordered a ROC stock. Ive had enough of my stock falling off in mid game.

The combo cost me a little over $120. Flashlight is great, it really lights up far and bright. The RedDot you need to align with your barrel, but thats easier done than said. RedDot is great by the way, compares much like the real thing (if not any differences). I had to buy a separate rail though to make the combo work, as there were a lot of problems with the fitting (ie. if one goes there, it blocks this, and if that goes there, this has to go - sorta thing). However, my marker went up 100 points on the cool-ness factor so its all good.

65 lumins is good (more is obviously better but that should suffice).

I usually prefer to go on wed cause of the BYOP( I bought 10 cases on boxing day at Badlands). Used to go on Mondays. Also go to EB or infinite from time to time. On wed we have a few of my boys go. All pretty good ballers. I rock speedball markers more lately, but also have some tac gear.

Wow, your pretty stocked eh.

Im planning on buying a deadly wind barrel some time in the near future, I just recently got the freak kit with all american front and all the inserts. I love it.

Im using a Tippy A5, HE Grip (which so far Ive burnt through 2 of them) Freak kit with all american barrel, UMP kit, ROC stock. Tech T complete cyclone upgrade.
Side arm, Tippy TPX with remote line attachment, 4 clips and stock X7 10 inch barrel.

Ninja tank, and coiled remote, petrol harness, and some crappy old jeans lol.

Play a lot with the pistol, espeically when the HE board decides to be judgmental and fail on me. Grrr, I think I wasnt ment to shoot auto lol.

But I must admit, I love just using a pistol, so much mobility. I guess its like those people that play stock class all day lol.

It's been a long while but I finally went paintball for the first time this year with my Jiu-Jitsu class and a couple highschool buddies. I don't think I've gone in like 2 years. Waking up this morning reminded me that all that rolling and crawling may not have been such a great idea. And now I want a suped up gun...

Dammit. Why can't I be happy with anything stock?

Oh by the by...the place was called C-Q-B. Our Jiu-Jitsu Sensei's brother owns that place. I think I like it better than Sgt. Splatters. Not so sandy and muddy.

Yup, your at the cross roads...do you want to go speedball or woodsball....then figure out the position you play the most.

But hey, you dont need a crazily moded marker. I have a hell of a lot of fun just using my pistol. I think I might even go stock class (pump style/manual marker) Im like de grading with style of play. Going back to the old school.

If you have nowhere to pick up paint, the shop at sgt splatters sells it for 40-80 dollars a case (2000 rds each case). I usually go through atleast a case.
