As on the topic of GM, they officially changed their ticker symbol from GMGMQ to MTLQQ and are officially registred as Motors Liquidation as their previous shares became worthless. Stocks fell 52% on the first day of trading under the new name. And they have a new strategy...sell new cars on ebay!!!

Is it the estranged brother of the B Class?

We are the owners of the new GM, the US and Canadian gov't (taxpayers) are the largest owners of the new GM, there are no shares for the new GM.

One of the reason the Federal and Ontario gov't are running substantial deficits it the money that was used to bail out Chrysler and GM....we collectively have billion and billions of reasons to see these companies succeed, so that they can do an IPO and we (taxpayers) stand a chance of getting some money back.

GMGMQ and now MTLQQ are shares of the old GM which are no listed, have no value, and traded on "pink sheets".

As they say "The taxpayers preferred to buy vehicles from other manufacturers, that they ended out buying the company".....the taxpayer owns GM, the taxpayer even as a seat on the board of directors.

The new GM does not have any shares, the shares being traded on "pink sheets" are from the old GM the reason the symbol has gone from GM to GMGMQ when they were delisted, and now that GM is out of bankruptcy MTLQQ.

The MTLQQ shares have absolutely no value....Click (http://stradaautostore.squarespace.com/dialogue2008/2009/7/18/easy-rider.html) go to page 18 it clearly mentions that all the shares of GM are part of the bankruptcy and have no value, especially that GM was a 363 bankruptcy where the old GM is broken up the shares have no value, and under 363 the new GM is sold primarily to the US and CDN gov't (taxpayer).

There are various court orders that restrict any "pink sheet: activity with the MTLQQ shares to protect the interests of the new GM, every shareholder of the GM shares when they were still traded and had some value has received several notices that their shares are worthless, and that trading is restricted.
