So, this is basically what the title says... Whats your dream car?

You just won 300,000 dollars...and for some strange reason, you get free insurance AND unlimited garage space! What the heck would you buy? Something expensive? or something cheap and pour tons of money into it?

ok, So this is what I would do....First I would run off to Super 7 Motors and of course buy a Caterham R-Type Hyabusa for the track for a cool 110,000 dollars, then make a quick call down to Belguim and have a Donkervoort D8 GT built and shiped over for another cool 90,000 Euro which is something like 150,000, since the D8 is a coupe Ill drive it when its raining and Ill drive the Caterham R-type when its nice out, since its a roadster.

All seasons car: 2009 Nissan GTR for $80k.
Snow car: Subaru Impreza WRX STI for $20k.
Collector cars: 300SEL 6.3 for $10k, AMG 300CE 6.0 Hammer for $40k
Track car: something interesting as a project, maybe an early model CLK55 with $30k of weight reduction and other mods.

I can never answer that question. I try and keep my dreams in arms length, like the new E class :) oh and a Tesla Sedan!

In my eyes, silver on benz is like red on ferrari, yellow on lambo and blue on bmw. :) They should keep these colours standard and make you pay extra for any other colours.

My colour did cost extra...lol Its designo...Im special..lol Although there are now 2 other CLK's in my colour in Markham, outside of that, Ive only seen 2 E classes with this colour.

imo black is the true colour for benz, silver is just a standard colour for anycar, i've never owned a silver car and never will, every second car out there is silver! not saying any car with silver is bad rather a sick looking cars with silver could be more sick if it had a colour. But i'll admit "SOME" cars look better in silver because of ther bodylines.

look at the sightings most cars people sight have coulours. ;)

Remember the part where i said some cars look sick in silver, that would be cars like the cls and cl like yours, i compared a w215 cl sil vs blk, in my bias opinion id say black, but the curves definately show better on the silver, specially at night time.

I agree some models look good in Silver, some models don't.

After owning a W202, W203, and now W204. Only the 202s and 203s look good in silver, but for some reason I cannot pinpoint the 204 looks hideous in silver. I have always owned silver benzes, I only broke that streak with the 204.

Ive yet to own a silver car, although I guess my junkyard quattro was silver at one point, but that was because it had no paint. I rattle caned the whole car, and just kept reapplying every so often lol

I like only black, white or silver on cars, sometimes maybe British racing green or Navy blue in certain cars. A little dust and or stone chips are way too visible on black cars, white cars usually turn yellow under my ownership, silver....I can drive around without cleaning for weeks after wiping of the windows. Hence, I prefer silver. I also prefer a discreet, sleeper type look on cars and silver does the job well.

1badamg: i said the same thing to Artem, his cls looks much better in silver then black, everyone has different reasons for colours, but if i were to get a cls it would be silver too, i have seen black ones, and it hides the car too much, and the sexy curves become hidden.

I have to agree with the black "dark" cars needing more care since they show signs of tear more, but again personal joice, i'd probably die waiting for a silver car to get dirty so i can clean it.lol i enjoy driving the car daily as if it just came out of the dealership.lol

Though, i remember a time when i was in high school i wanted a silver car, just because they seem to look more crispy clean when washed, may not be candy reflective as coloured cars, but silver does have that, "im always new look" to it.

yes, i also think the white today is the new black, i worry getting white cars, since mathew pointed out they turn yellow if not taken care of in certain areas.

I'm considering buying a new sub-compact, being a uni student, parking issues, trying to keep the car clean, is getting to me.lol

those kids @ school are so lucky with their suvs, they park anywhere.lol
