I want to add a 10"

I have a GLK with the H/K system... I feel that a little more bass would help it out huge..

anyone got a good suggestion on where to get a 10" installed. I dont want to bring my brand new truck to any random shop.. hopefully I can get a goooooood suggestion.

selective sound? i never really dealt with them but they are all over tuner mags... i know there are people on this forum that dont like them but i dunno worth it to drop by...

If you want to just add a straight woofer, you can disconnect the stock woofer and hard wire in your new 10 inch. I belive Benz Online uses an infiniti all in one woofer box inclosure. It has a built in amp, so you dont have to worry about getting antoher one. or having to install a cap to store power for your woofer.

The only downside of doing this, as aposed to getting a new head unit and installing an amp through the head unit is that you dont get as much custimization and tuning of the sound system itself.

You only end up with the presets that came with your car in the stock deck. So, espeically with teh H&K system, you might become overwhelmed with base....

What types of music do you normally listen too? Beucase you might be able to get away with getting a set of high end front component speakers that will sound like you have a woofer in the end of it.
